Eye protection was not used by employees involved with using pneumatic nail guns installing gutter boards.

Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 8/22/2019, Employees of Homes by Whittaker were installing a gutter board on a residential building located at Lot 8423 Marais Temps Clair Drive, Saint Charles, MO. Employees working on the roof were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system, exposing them to a fall of approximately 24 feet to the ground below. Homes by Whittaker was previously citied for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1021610, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/28/2015, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 3125 Simeon Bunker Street, Saint Charles, MO.
