29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  Employees engaged in electrical installation activities, walking and working from an open balcony/patio, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet 3 inches from the unprotected balcony/patio to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized.  29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
