29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Construction site - On or about August 22, 2019, employees performing framing operations on a roof at heights exceeding 6 feet above the ground were not provided a means of fall protection, exposing them to fall hazards. The Martin Villafranco DBA Martin Villafranco Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(2)(II)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 999369, citation number1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 2, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 6401 62nd St., Lubbock, TX 79405.
