Employees working as painters were exposed to continuous noise levels that were equivalent to 177.2%, 73.96% and 70.2% of the allowable dose of 100%, or 90dBA for an 8 hour Time Weighted Average. These exposures, which are equivalent to an 8 hour Time Weighted Average of 94.1dBA, 87.8dBA and 87.4dBA respectively, exceeded the Action Level of 50%, or 85dBA. The sample times were 445 minutes, 447 minutes and 444 minutes respectively. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time periods of 35 minutes, 33 minutes and 36 minutes respectively.  Violation occurred on or about 01/24/2020.
