29 CFR 1910.134(i)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that compressed air met the requirements for Grade D breathing air as described in the ANSI/Compressed Gas Association Commodity Specification G-7.1-1989: Yard Area, Abrasive Blasting Area: On or about August 27, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards associated with carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen and other air quality hazards where the employer did not ensure that the breathing air provided by an Atlas Copco XAS JD6 compressor met the minimum criteria for Grade D air.
