29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a)Crossfire Construction, LLC at 580 Watiki Way, Box Elder, SD 57719: On or about and at times prior to August 22, 2019, the exposing employer did not ensure each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system or personal fall arrest system. Employees were engaged in framing operations on the 3rd story of a commercial project without a fall protection system. The condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 26 feet.
