Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.     On 06 September 2019, at a worksite located at 1335 Hickory Dr. Montgomery, IL. 60538, employees who were removing and replacing a roof on a residential structure were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18 feet. Two out of the four employees had harness on, but were not tied off. No other form of fall protection was being utilized during this work activity.    Abatement documentation is not required for this item.
