29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. (a) Facility - On or about September 04, 2019 the employer did not ensure that the work floor was kept free of water and wet paper stock exposing employees to slip and fall hazards. - Basement Area. Water and wet paper stock covered the work floor - Sludge Press Area - Water covered the walking/working aisle The Twin Rivers Paper Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1058109, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/02/2015, with respect to a workplace located at Twin Rivers Paper Company, 82 Bridge Avenue in Madawaska, Maine 04756.
