OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard. a) On or about 9/6/2020, at Emory Highway, Bridge Span 17-18, in Macon, GA: Employees working from a bridge about 34 feet above the ground with an engineered personal fall arrest system which was not adequately designed to be also used as a guardrail system exposing the employees to a fall hazard.
