29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening was less than 39 inches (1.0 m) above the walking/working surface, was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system: a) Job site, Undetermined Address At/Near Foundation Street, Cranberry, PA: On or about September 3, 2019, during drywall delivery activities, the employer did not ensure that employees used appropriate fall protection systems/devices while near a wall opening determined to be approximately 34 inches wide by 65 inches tall with an 18 inch tall window sill below it, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of up to at least approximately 12 feet.
