29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(C): Employees whose work operations were in an area where energy control procedures were utilized were not instructed about the procedure. On or about September 10, 2019 and at times prior to, at the Matteuzzi machines in the Final Finish area, the employer did not provide employees with the manufacturers start-up procedures for the Matteuzzi machines that were affected by the energy control shut-down. This exposed the employees to caught-in hazards from the unexpected release of energy.
