Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On September 11, 2019, located on the north side of a residential roof, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while standing on a steep pitch roof performing framing work not utilizing an adequate fall protection system. Potential Fall heights were measured to be 19'-7" with a roof pitch of 6/12.
