29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1):  Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s):  On or about 09/13/2019,  employees at Dalton Logistics, Inc were operating a defective powered industrial truck in need of repair that was not removed from service until it has been restored to safe operating condition.  The following defective powered industrial truck was in use onsite:   Nisan PIT,  Model #MCPL02A25LV,  Chassis # CPL02-9P4688:   The back-up alarm was inadequate for approximately one month in that it was not loud enough to warn pedestrians.
