29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: a) On or about September 17, 2019, employees were not protected against accidental contact with energized overhead power lines during siding demolition work. The overhead power lines consisted of secondary power lines having a voltage rating of 120/240 V. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
