29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about September 18, 2019 workers were exposed to falls greater than 20 feet from the roof to the ground while painting dormers on a steep pitched roof where protection from falling by a guardrail system, a safety net, or personal fall arrest systems were not utilized.
