29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): 1) On September 19, 2019, and at prior times, Crosslands Construction Company, as a controlling employer, did not maintain an effective program which provided for inspections of the job site by a competent person who was capable of identifying existing and potential hazards. An employee of WilliamMRK Masonry, a subcontractor, was potentially exposed to respirable crystalline silica while dry cutting masonry blocks with no engineering controls or respiratory protection in place.
