29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles: On or about September 20, 2019, an employee was exposed to eye hazards without eye protection while using a pneumatic gun, on a commercial construction site in Georgetown, Illinois. JCD CONTRACTORS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1392324, CITATION 1, ITEM NUMBER 2b AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 19, 2019, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 55 N 000 E ROAD, LOVINGTON, ILLINOIS 61937.
