29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in the trench excavation that was 4 feet or more in depth for employees to egress when required: a. On or about September 24, 2019, at the jobsite, employees working in a trench that was 4 feet 6 inches deep, in class C soil, were exposed to slip and fall hazards, in that, a safe means of egress was not provided.
