OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. U.S. Postal Route C090: On September 5, 2019 an unacclimated employee returned from leave and was exposed to excessive heat hazards while delivering mail with temperatures up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit and a heat index of 104.7 degrees Fahrenheit.
