29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) Mixing Area: On or about September 25, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to inhalation hazards by not providing medical evaluations prior to fit testing or requiring employees to wear 3M Half Facepiece Reusable respirators (Model 6200/07025) while mixing chemicals such as, but not limited to, Ethyl Acetate, Xylene, and nitrocellulose, and Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP).
