Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to stuck-by, and fall hazards while using pneumatic nailers, and working from heights greater than 6 feet above a lower level.  Employees were exposed in that the employer had not developed and maintained a comprehensive safety and health program which addressed these and other hazards.

Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  Employees engaged in residential roofing activities, using a metal extension ladder, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet and six inches from the eave of the garage to the ground below. Employees were exposed in that the ladder safety training had not been provided.
