29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(E): Lamps used in temporary wiring for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage: (a) Worksite - 5th Floor, 4th Floor, 1st Floor - 3rd Floor Stairway and the Basement: On or about 10/1/2019, the employer did not ensure that temporary light fixtures were properly guarded to prevent contact and electric shock. Metric Construction of Boston Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(E), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1355285, citation number 001, item number 04b and was affirmed as a final order on 5/8/2019 , with respect to a workplace located at 200 Esten Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860.

29 CFR 1926.405(j)(1)(i): Fixtures, lamp-holders, lamps, rosettes, or receptacles had live parts normally exposed to employee contact: (a) Worksite - Basement and stairway between 1st and 2nd floors: On or about 10/1/2019, employees were exposed to live unguarded temporary light fixtures that were missing their bulbs, where the stairway light fixture was at handrail height. Metric Construction of Boston Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1355285, citation number 001, item number 04a and was affirmed as a final order on 5/8/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 200 Esten Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
