The exit access went through a room that could be locked, to reach an exit or exit discharge. (a) Stock room - On or about October 02, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the emergency exit was blocked by trash bags and cardboard boxes. Family Dollar was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1352547, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/03/2019, with respect to a workplace located at the Family Dollar in 2925 Headland Drive, East Point, Georgia 30344. A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where their presence is detected: (a) Store - On or about October 02, 2019 employees were exposed to diseases carried by rats due to the employer not having an effective pest control program. (b) Store - On or about October 02, 2019 employees were exposed to spider bites due to the employer not having an effective pest control program. Family Dollar was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1190005, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/24/2017, with respect to a workplace located at the Family Dollar in 2321 N Wisconsin Ave, Peoria, IL 61603 .
