29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: On or about 10-19-2019 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service - Hampton Station at 809 Aberdeen Rd. Hampton, VA 23670, in the certified mail work area, employee(s) were exposed to electrical and fire hazards from a temporary electrical cord supplying 110 Volts that was plugged directly into a 6-outlet surge protector in a daisy-chained fashion. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Hampton, VA 23670, in the certified mail work area, employee(s) were exposed to fire and electrical hazards where a temporary electric cord of a surge protector was run through a hole in a wooden cabinet to reach the electrical outlet on the other side of the wall. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
