29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: (a) Backroom: On October 8, 2019 and times prior, boxes of merchandise were stacked in an insecure manner that did not prevent potential sliding, falling and/or collapsing. The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1406066, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 19, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 241-50 Jamaica Avenue, Queens Village, NY 11428.
