29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:    a)  Parking lot of Edgewater Post Office: Hazard Communication training, such as appropriate work practices, was not provided to all employees who used a saw for cut concrete, and swept and blew concrete dust while cleaning afterward, on or about October 10, 2019.

29 CFR 1926.1153(f)(1): The employer allowed dry sweeping or dry brushing where such activity could contribute to employee exposure to respirable crystalline silica and wet sweeping, HEPA-filtered vacuuming or other methods were feasible:    a)  Parking lot of Edgewater Post Office: Employees used brooms and a leaf blower to clean concrete dust from the area exposing them to silica dust on or about October 10, 2019.
