29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area: a. 1300 Airport Road, Unit D, North Brunswick, NJ - Production Department The employer did not provide effective hazard communication training to temporary employees who use cleaning chemicals such as but not limited to, Isopropyl alcohol (2-propanol), also known as isopropanol or IPA, on a daily basis to sanitize equipment. Violation observed on or about October 11, 2019 WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
