29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  (a)    Scale House Area, Poca, WV:  On or about October 17, 2019 suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use for employees using the corrosive Hydrochloric Acid 20 BE to wash dried concrete off the concrete trucks.  ABATEMENT NOTE:  Feasible and acceptable abatement of this hazard would be to follow American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z358.1 which requires that suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes be located within 10 seconds and on the same level as the hazard.  The path of travel to the eye washing facility shall not have any obstructions such as closed doors or stairs.
