This was most recently documented on or about October 16, 2019 at a residential construction jobsite located at 8811 South 37th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516 where the employer has employees operating pneumatic nail guns while shingling a roof.

This was most recently documented on or about October 16, 2019 at 8811 South 37th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516 when employees were observed installing shingles on a residential structure while working at greater than 6 feet above the ground without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  The employer is failing to train all employees potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards associated with the type of work being conducted. This was most recently documented on or about October 16, 2019 at 8811 South 37th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516.  This should include training on mitigating those hazards through an acceptable method of fall protection. Employees were observed performing framing activities having not received fall protection training.

This was most recently documented on or about October 16, 2019 at 8811 South 37th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516. The ladder was used by the employees and was not extended over the upper landing surface.
