29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Production Floor: The guarding devices of the Baader 417 Wedge Cut Heading Machine" did not prevent workers from reaching into the machine to feed the fish to have their heads cut off or to remove stuck fish heads that are stuck on the saw blades. A worker amputated a finger tip on a cutting blade.
