Chemical products used on site expose employees to eye injury.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) The Fresh Market Inc./75 Washington Valley Road, Bedminster, NJ- Throughout the Supermarket: On or about October 17, 2019 The employer did not provide effective hazardous chemical training for employees working with products containing Sodium Hydroxide, Urea, Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, and Hydrogen peroxide. Employees were not provided with all of the information required by the Hazard Communication Standard including but not limited to the location of the Safety Data Sheets.
