29 CFR 1926.502(a)(2): Employers shall provide and install all fall protection systems required by this subpart for an employee, and shall comply with all other pertinent requirements of this subpart before that employee begins the work that necessitates the fall protection. a) On or about October 17, 2019; on the east side of the worksite, employees were removing roofing material on a commercial roof near the leading edge 17 feet above the ground without some form of fall protection system. b) On or about October 17, 2019; on the south side of the worksite, employees were using a wheel barrel to dump roof debris at the edge of the roof 17 feet above ground to a dumpster below.
