29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) Lightning Construction located at 2128 E. Hecla Drive, Louisville, CO 80027: On or about October 21, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees engaged in residential roofing activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Thirteen employees were tearing off shingles on two story residential townhomes without using personal fall arrest systems, and were actively engaged in roofing activities on the edge of the structure. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 30-35 feet.
