29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1): The employer did not submit to the Agency documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required.   As of  August 25, 2020 , the employer had not submitted to the Agency documents that abatement had been completed for serious violation indicated by the Agency included Citation1 Item 1 and Citation 1 Item 2, from inspection number 1439196, issued December 23, 2019 , with a final order date of  January 21, 2020.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    Roof Trusses, Corner of Berkshire and Bay Street, Springfield, MA: On or about October 21, 2019 employees work engaged in framing activities at or near leading edges with unprotected sides and edges with fall heights greater than 13 feet above the next lower level (concrete floor) without being protected from falls by either guard rails systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems.    Postal Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1396071, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 27, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 577 W Main Street Hyannis, MA.

Roof Trusses, Corner of Berkshire and Bay Street, Springfield, MA: On or about October 21, 2019 employer had not verified compliance with paragraph (a) by preparing a written record (training) that included the date(s) of training, the name or other identification of employee(s) trained and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer prior to exposing employees to fall hazards as part of their assigned duties.    Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).    Postal Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1106496, citation number 1, item number 5A and was affirmed as a final order on February 3, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 162 Southampton St. Westfield, MA.
