29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Jobsite: On or about October 23, 2019, an employee was working on a steep roof and he was not protected from falling to the ground the fall hazard was up to approximately 40 feet to the ground. The pitch of the steep roof was about 12 in 12.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: (a) Jobsite: On or about October 23, 2019, 3 employees were working from a low sloped roof and none of the employees were protected from falling to the ground nor was there a safety monitor. The fall hazard was about 13 feet to the ground.
