29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Employees were exposed to electrical shock. Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to electrical hazards in that the flexible cord used to supply power to the compressor was not equipped with mechanical strength and durability. As a result the flexible cord showed signs of damage. The insulation had pulled away from the junction box, exposing the conductors.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in residential framing activities, installing the roof board, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet 2 inches from the eave of the roof, to the exterior ground below in that fall protection was not utilized.
