29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: a) On or about 10/25/2019, at the exaction work site, employees working to install an electrical conduit inside an approximate 3 feet deep trench with water accumulation at the bottom, exposed to cave-in hazards when the side walls eroded for not using a water removal technique.

No well points, pumps, or other water removal techniques were being used, exposing employees to cave-in hazards.
