29 CFR 1926.651(b)(1): The estimated location of underground utility installations, such as sewer, telephone, fuel, electric, water lines, or any other underground installations that reasonably may be expected to be encountered during excavation work, were not determined prior to opening an excavation: a) 905 Heritage Drive, Pottstown, PA, Worksite - on or about October 24, 2019, excavation work was being performed without the location of each underground utility installation being located by the utility owner prior to the start of work as a means of limiting the risk of damage being sustained through the use of excavating equipment.
