29 CFR 1910.184(c)(7): Sling(s) were not padded or protected from sharp edges of their loads: Worksite located at 12 Mill Brook Road, Plainfield, Connecticut: On, or about, October 27, 2019, an employee was pinned under an expansion joint that tipped from a standing position after a synthetic sling failed. The synthetic sling had been positioned over a shipping bracket that had sharp edge, causing a clean cut through the sling. No padding or protection was used to prevent the sling from becoming damaged.
