29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Non-working portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: The Federal Noark Big Band Saw had its nonworking portion of the saw blade exposed and unguarded. This section was between the top of the adjustable guard and the fly wheel guarding. The adjustable guarding was not long enough to cover the nonworking portion of the blade. The unguarded area measured approximately 5 1/8 inch in length).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical: On or about 10/29/2019, employees from St. Louis Woodworks, Inc. were exposed to hazards of various products. The employer did not have Safety Data Sheets (SDS) concerning such products as the Vinyl Sealer (Product Code: CLQ1075) and the Catalyzed Lacquer (ID#: 2220-62-40). Their Hazard Communication program still addressed MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets). The employer did have MSDSs for these products.
