29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:   (a) Establishment: Employees performing veterinarian care procedures use chemicals such as but limited to,    Clorox germicidal bleach commercial strength, Tuttnauer Clean & Simple Tables, 70% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, Chlorhexidine scrub 2% and 4%, and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. A written Hazard Communication Program was not in place; On or about 10/28/2019.  Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s)   a) Establishment:  Employees performing veterinary care procedures were exposed to hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, Clorox Germicidal Bleach commercial strength, Tuttnauer Clean & Simple Tables, 70% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, Chlorhexidine scrub 2% and 4%, and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Safety data sheets were not made readily available; On or about 10/28/2019.     Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):  Employees were not provided with information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and when a new hazard was introduced into their work area:    a) Establishment: Employees performing veterinary care procedures use chemicals including, but not limited to, Clorox germicidal bleach commercial strength, Tuttnauer Clean & Simple Tables, 70% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, Chlorhexidine scrub 2% and 4%, and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. A Hazard Communication training program was not in place; on or about 10/28/2019.       Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
