29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Instance 1: At Stairway Opening: On or about 10/30/2019 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 4-9 feet, in that floor openings where stairs were installed at several residential units did not have guardrails around the perimeter of the openings to prevent employees from falling through the hole. Instance 2: On Roof Trusses: On or about 10/30/2019 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet, in that employees were not tied-off to an anchor point to prevent them from falling from the roof to the soil ground below.
