29 CFR 1926.300(a): Condition of tools. All hand and power tools and similar equipment, whether furnished by the employer or the employee, shall be maintained in a safe condition. On or about October 23, 2019, and times prior to, employees were exposed to a caught in hazard when using a Hilti TE 50 hammer drill with broken chuck when drilling onto concrete.
