29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) North side of roof, west end, on or about 10-30-19: Two employees were setting/installing prefabricated roof sections and were not protected from falls, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 18 feet 6 inches to the foundation area below. b) North side of roof, west end, on or about 10-30-19: Two employees were setting/installing large prefabricated wood roof sections and were not protected from falls, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of up to 12 feet to the attic floor below.
