29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.   On or about November 5, 2019, and at time prior thereto, employees engaged in roofing activities were not wearing fall protection or tied off to a lanyard and anchor exposing them to an unprotected fall hazard of approximately 23 feet to the ground below.  No other means of fall protection was provided.   Jose Godoy was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1240350, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/13/2017,with a final abatement date of 7/13/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 6100 FM 1488 Magnolia, Texas.
