29 CFR 1926.405(b)(2): All pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings were not provided with covers: (a) Warehouse Section B, U Avenue DLA Building 83 New Cumberland, PA - The employer did not ensure that a cover plate was installed on an electrical wire way, (junction box) with energized 277 volt wires connected with wire nuts, thereby exposing employees to electrical hazards, on or about November 7, 2019. No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1926.416(b)(1): Barriers or other means of guarding were not provided to ensure that workspace for electric equipment would not be used as a passageway during periods when energized parts of electric equipment are exposed: (a) Warehouse Section B, U Avenue DLA Building 83 New Cumberland, PA - The employer did not ensure that barriers or other means of guarding were provided around an energize electrical junction box with 277 volts when work was conducted on the electrical junction box, on or about November 7, 2019. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
