29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use:   A.)  Absolute Powder Coating, LLC. - On or about 11/19/19, and at times prior thereto, employees were required to wear supplied air respirators (Nova 2000)  during work tasks including, but not limited to, media blasting.  The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace:    A.)  Absolute Powder Coating, LLC. - On or about 11/19/19, and at times prior thereto, employees were required to wear supplied air respirators (Nova 2000)  during work tasks including, but not limited to, media blasting.  Employees were not provided with a medical evaluation to determine their ability to use a respirator prior to the required use of the respirators.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Absolute Powder Coating, LLC. - On or about 11/19/19, and at times prior thereto, employees were required to wear supplied air respirator (Nova 2000) hoods during work tasks including, but not limited to, media blasting.  Employees were not provided with respiratory protection training.
