Employees are permitted to use electric hand tools which has damaged power cord. On 11/20/2019 employees used a Dewalt electric saw which was powered by a damaged power cord.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: 1586 Fairmount Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139: Employer is exposing employees to fall hazards. The employees used a board roughly 12 inches wide to gain access into a house under construction from the back area of the structure. The board did not have any handrails on either side and there were no other fall protection systems in place to prevent employee injuries. The employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 10 feet 4 inches.

The employees used a board roughly 12 inches wide to gain access into a house under construction e from the back area. The board did not have any handrails on either side. The employees were not trained to recognize fall hazards and in the use of fall protection systems.
