29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): Surfaces. All surfaces shall be maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead. On or about December 3, 2019, a wipe sample conducted by OSHA revealed that the range counter in the rear of the store located on the first floor on the northside had lead surface contamination of 509.94 micrograms per square foot (ug/ft2). This employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1259404 citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/14/2017 with respect to a workplace located at 970 Dundee Ave, East Dundee, IL, 60118. Abatement Documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
