29 CFR 1910.29(b)(14): Guardrail systems on ramps and runways were not installed along each unprotected side or edge. a) Store - On or about 11/14/19 and at times prior thereto the emergency exit door in the back of the store discharged to a ramp without guardrail protection. Employees were exposed to falls from a 52 inch elevation onto the concrete floor. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

Every enclosed workplace was not so constructed, equipped, and maintained, so far as reasonably practicable, as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, and other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where their presence was detected. a) Shop - On or about 11/14/19 and at times prior thereto the loading dock door did not close completely. The emergency exit door was damaged and presented holes. Rodents entered the building and the employer did not institute an extermination program. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
